Convection Activities Kit An experiment with convection is essential to any investigation of the complex behavior of air, water, or other fluids. Using this innovative kit, students create and observe continuous convection currents occurring within a fluid. The kit features Rheoscopic Fluid, a unique fluid which has visible currents. Students use vials of hot water and ice to create warm (less dense) and cool (more dense) regions within the fluid. The resulting convection currents are clearly visible and will not disperse over time. Each kit includes 32 oz. of fluid, teacher/student activity guide with reproducible student pages, and other necessary supplies shown.
